An nonprofit clinic dedicated to preserving the eyesight of underserved individuals in and around the Los Angeles County since 2004
Health Opportunities Provided for Everyone Artesia (H.O.P.E. Artesia) is a free nonprofit eye clinic located in Artesia, CA. dedicated to preserving the eyesight of indigent and medically uninsured patients in the Los Angeles and Orange County communities. Our objective is to identify, screen, educate, and treat individuals who are at risk of losing their eyesight due to cataract, glaucoma, or diabetes.
Who We Are
Kenneth Sall, M.D., is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist and the Medical Director of H.O.P.E. Artesia. He has been in private practice since 1986 and specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of external corneal diseases. Dr. Sall founded the nonprofit clinic in 2004 and has worked with several free community clinics in Los Angeles County to provide free health eye exams. In addition, H.O.P.E. Artesia collaborates with a surgery center and multiple pharmaceutical companies in an effort to provide patients with free (or reduced cost) cataract surgeries or eye prescription medications.
H.O.P.E. Artesia and Lestonnac Free Clinic collaboratively work together to provide free healthcare services to uninsured and low-income individuals. Lestonnac's first clinic opened in Orange County in 1979 and there are now five locations (including the location in Artesia) that provide patients with primary care, dental care, pediatrics, prenatal, and educational healthcare services.
Our goal is to exponentially grow and add healthcare services that would aid the greatest amount of patients.
